Spring Events
The spring season brings with it a variety of exciting events in San Antonio. In February, Rodeo San Antonio takes place at the AT&T Center and features bull riding, barrel racing, and more. If you enjoy contemporary art, March is Contemporary Art Month (CAM) featuring over 400 exhibitions at more than 50 venues throughout San Antonio. October also marks Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations which honor loved ones who have passed away with colorful altars filled with offerings such as flowers and food items. And don’t forget about the Ford Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony! The parade is the Friday after Thanksgiving and the parade takes place on the River Walk where illuminated floats parade down the river while fireworks light up the night sky.

Wintertime brings plenty of festive cheer to San Antonio including December’s Christmas celebrations all over San Antonio. Our favorite is the Christmas on the River Walk lighting ceremony.
